PEOPLE OF THE STORY:

Abel Weber was born in Berlin, Germany in 1921 and he is 6’2” and weighs 181 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. Was a high school dropout and joined world war 2, and then he got drafted into the American army when he was 19. He moved out of Germany when he was 17 and He did not believe in Hitler’s speeches, his other family members and his friends all believed in his movements, and his acts. He was constantly made fun of and picked on because of what he believed in.

Max Whitfield was born in Washington D.C in 1918 and he is about 6’3 with dark brown hair and he is about 179 pounds his eyes are dark blue. He graduated high school and believed strong in politics.
He was always in shape and played a lot of baseball he was a big fan of the Yankees and his father was a former Yankees outfielder and he collected baseball cards ever since he was 7. He also got drafted into the army.

Adal Heilbronner was born in Berlin, Germany in 1921 and he is 6’1 and weighs about 176 pound and has light brown hair and blue eyes. He was a high school graduate, and graduated at 18. He was very educated in almost every subject and loved helping out people.

John Coffman was born in San Diego, California in 1920 and he’s about 6’4 in height and weighs about 187 pounds and graduated high school at 19. He loved hanging out at the beaches and hanging out with his kids. He has black hair and greenish eyes. He enlisted to the army when he was 21 and was an officer in the 42nd division.

Garry Adelhelm was born in Saxony, Germany in 1919 and he’s about 6’2 feet weighs 176 pounds and graduated high school at 18. He loved to golf with his father and almost got into the golfing tournament with his school until he forced to enter the German forces at 18. This kid loved playing with guns also he had a rifle bbgun and always bring it outside and shot anything he wanted to including kids. This kid was a sharpshooter also he was a good shot he even put a telescope on his rifle to make it even more accurate. He was recruited into the army as a sniper unit.
SYNOPSIS:

Abel was getting ready to leave class as the bell had rang at the end of the day. He walks back to his house and goes to his room to get his homework done. Living in Germany isn’t easy for him because of the conflicts with Hitler and his speeches. He is strictly against what Hitler says unlike many others that he knows. Abel and his friend Adal both believe in different things one follows Hitler and agrees with what he says and Abel doesn’t. They end up not being friends because what the two of them believe in.
Later Abel Moved out of Germany after constant teases and being jumped all the time by his other friends and other people. He couldn’t take any more of Hitler’s speeches and everything that was happening around him. He moved out of Germany in 1938. So he dropped out of high school and He got an apartment in Washington D.C with his dad and soon after living there for about 5 or 6 months his dad got a letter in the mail that told him that he was drafted into the army. So his dad told his son that he should go to war because he didnt have time and Abel agreed to going to war. He thought about this and decided it was a great idea. He thought it was going to be great but all didn’t go as planned.

Persepolis book reflection

The story of Persepolis is the story about the Middle East but mostly about Iran and how they developed through the ancient and previous years. Iran was firstly founded by an Iranian nation but was later re-conquered and reclaimed by Cyrus the Great and he called that place he conquered ancient Persia. Cyrus was the first to establish that large of an empire in the ancient worlds but was later in about the 1930s when the Shah asked everyone to call it Iran. Iran was a rich country because of its oil and the location of the country. The country was often attacked by its neighbors but Iran survived all the invasions to that country it was a strong country and had a powerful Islamic religion. Reza Shah decided to westernize the country and modernize it also. While they were changing the country a bit they found important resource oil. Now almost every country was interested in Iran because of its wealthy profiting from oil. During World War two. The allies asked Reza Shah to ally with them but Iran was still proclaimed neutral. So the allies invaded Iran.
Now Great Britain organized an embargo with Iran with the transportation with oil with boats. The CIA with the help of Britain tried to overthrow Mossdeq and the shah was restored with power. The Shah escaped from Iran to escape the Islamic revolution.
Well Marji was just a little girl when she experienced Clandestine and watches her country go under attack. Her family weren’t proletariat people either I don’t know were they got their money from though. Iran had an reservoir supply of weapons and when the U.S asked Iraq if they had weapons they were decadent toward this situation and they were actually veritable they never had any weapons of mass destruction either.
Well anyway marji went through many hard times of lives hearing about her country’s deaths and the war with Iran and her family was most of who she cared about one of her family members just martyred because of the torture they went through.
Marji goes to the U.S and stays there for a while and as we all know the U.S is free in as being a secularist country well I think since she is Iranian she will have a rough time trying to fit in Europe as an Iranian people are very different and people might treat her differently since she is there people might make fun of her and that’s why shell have such a hard time there. If people treat her nicely and welcome her to the country I think shell have a good time there and finding her parents might be a problem and her parents might’ve changed so I don’t think shell like it at first.
