Reflection in socratic seminar about lowering voting age.

What we did for this seminar i didnt really prepare or anything i didnt even read the text. But most of us prepared by reading this article written by Anya A. Kamenetz but i just didnt read the article and i still did a great job in the seminar. I made couple statments on which it doesnt matter the age you are it matters on education and which you are interested in voting as well. I talked most of the time but the times that i didnt talk were because of either other people were talking or i thought my statment was going to be completly stupid or not make sence. I need to work on my speeches and think about them before i say them 1 speech i made did not make sence to anyone they didnt understand what i was saying i need to work on not interupting people also.
The author and the paper i read about agreed with 16 year olds voting and i totally disagree with the author of this draft because 16 year olds are not even out of school yet and you think they should be voting and if thier not out of school that means they have even less idea about the presidents and how these people and others determine whether and why they think this candidate should be chosen or elected president.
The most interesting ideas that caught my attention was that having the responsibility to drive means you have the responsibility to vote and i totally disagree with that because driving and voting have different responsibility driving has different responsibilitys and driving is an fact and voting is an opinion. there are other people who talk about signing up and being a voter how you have to pass a test but i didnt write about that by!!!.

the year of the youth voting!

The youth voters of this year have made a Coalition and have raised the youth voters percentage by alot they have striked back since 2005 voting election. this years voting has made a Progressive impact on the world. There has been multiple Evangelical people at Obama political partys and he has been leading the presidency for a week now, Can it be beacause of the youth voting?. the young people have been suffering from Suffrage by not having the right to vote!. In 2004 while bush was running for president again there was a recount and the election been veto. these young 18 year olds have been trying to be conservative of increasing the votes that allow 16 year olds to vote. President Bush has been Incumbent and held presidency two years in a row because of the recount!. People were Constituent about the recount many people didnt want the recount either.

reflection on our presedential debate (classroom related)

my classroom refection for our classroom presedential debate was a good presedential election we went into groups of 8 i beilieve and each of us had a topic the only topics i recall are economy, national security, education, stem cell reasearch. each of the groups was a presedent like huckabee, obama, clinton, romney, gravel. my group was researching presedent huckabee. so each presedent went up there (1 person from each group) and the national security people went up there and were asked questions about there veiws on national security and how they would better the world with security and how they would strengthen our military and border patrol. it was fun debating and in the democratic section obama won and in the republicans mccain won. it was funnnn.

presedential election!!

ok my opinion is i would nomanate mike huckabee for president. romney dropped out of the race he put up all that hard work and now he dropped out that is quite suprising this is a really good battle between clinton, huckabee, obama put up posts about you would nomanate very good match the war in iraq continues and huckabee wants the war to keep going and overwelm the enemy to make sure we do not stop the war because Withdrawal would have serious strategic consequences for us and horrific humanitarian consequences for the Iraqis. If we leave Iraqs neighbors on all sides will face a refugee crisis and be drawn into the war. Iran to protect the Shiites, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan to protect the Sunnis and Turkey to protect its control over its own Kurd population.
